New Horizons can help you support your community

Building the wellbeing, personal development, and employability of those in the Liverpool city region is at the heart of what we do.

A huge part of this is community outreach. Through our facilitators Jenny and Bea, we deliver our services to all six boroughs of our city region. Whether that is at children centres, community centres, or schools, we create a safe space in any facility to make sure participants feel comfortable to grow, share stories, and learn.

We recently received feedback from Debbie Canon, Services Coordinator for Belle Vale, Hunts Cross and Mossley Hill Children’s Centre. Facilitator Jenny delivered our Women's Power Programme which allows women come together to share stories, build confidence, and confide in each other. Here's what Debbie had to say:

The courses delivered by The Women’s Organisation in the Children Centre are excellent. The contents and the delivery are  professional and supportive of the parents accessing them. As a parent its good to take time to access a friendly and informal course that helps you develop and grow as a person and that’s what the Women's Power Programme does. I feel it’s true partnership working as we provide the creche and The Women’s Organisation deliver the course. The parents love them and the tutor is professional and empathetic to individual needs of the participants. Thank you!
